Dolphin Proudly Continues Sponsorship of AFC Stoneham

Dolphin is delighted to continue its sponsorship of the men’s first team at local football club AFC Stoneham. The club is managed by James Phillips, a valued member of our sales team at Dolphin Hants, who took on the managerial role in 2019. Since then, James continues to lead the team with dedication and passion.

AFC Stoneham compete in the Wessex Premier League, having earned promotion after winning Division One in the 2018/19 season. Their success is a testament to the hard work of the players, coaches, and supporters.

Dolphin Motorhomes is also proud to sponsor two of the club’s youth teams: the Under 14 Girls Phoenixes and the Under 9 Tigers.

Phoenixes Shine at St George’s Park

Last Saturday, the Under 14 Phoenixes, managed by Dolphin MD Josh Willis, had an unforgettable experience participating in the NPC Tournament at St George’s Park, competing alongside 23 other teams in a fun-filled day of football and activities.

The Phoenixes kicked off the tournament in style with a 2-0 victory over Baypoint FC, followed by a 2-1 win against Cottage Farm Rangers. After a well-earned lunch break, the girls took part in an inspiring Q&A session with Faye White, former England captain and Arsenal legend, who shared valuable advice and insights from her career.

The team then enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the Lionesses’ changing room and received customisable goodie bags – a real highlight of the day!

In the afternoon’s outdoor matches, the Phoenixes faced a tough opponent in their third game, resulting in a 0-2 loss. But the team showed resilience and team spirit, bouncing back to secure a 2-1 win in their final match of the tournament.

A fantastic day all around, filled with learning, fun, and great football. We’re incredibly proud of the girls for their determination and achievements.
